This 3-day safari takes you to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s most scenic and wildlife-rich safari destination. Starting and ending in Kigali, the journey offers thrilling game drives, a boat cruise on Lake Ihema, and a historical tour. Akagera is home to the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes—along with zebras, impalas, hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species.
Key attractions include the Big Five animals, River Kagera, Lake Shakani, Lake Ihema, and Kigali city. Activities range from game drives and nature walks to birdwatching, boat cruises, and fishing, providing an unforgettable blend of adventure and relaxation in Rwanda’s premier safari park.
After breakfast and briefing on your safari, you will drive to the Akagera national park for game drive. Game drive in the park spotting a variety of birds and animals. Overnight at your accommodation facility in Akagera.
After your breakfast, you will wake up to an exciting Game drive within the park with varied wildlife species to spot. This will be followed by an afternoon Boat Safari along Lake Ihema. Overnight at your accommodation facility in Akagera.
An early morning game drive, followed by drive back to Kigali. Drop-off at your accommodation facility in Kigali.
