Your adventure begins in Jinja at the Source of the Nile, where you can enjoy boat rides and sightseeing along the world’s longest river. From there, you’ll head to the stunning Sipi Falls, nestled on the slopes of Mount Elgon, offering incredible panoramic views, including glimpses of Mount Kenya and the vast Eastern Uganda landscapes.
At Sipi Falls, nature lovers can explore hiking trails, birdwatching, and scenic photography, while adrenaline seekers can experience abseiling down the main waterfall. A cultural visit to the coffee plantations in Kapchorwa provides a unique opportunity to learn about the traditional coffee-making process. After your early morning breakfast, you will set off as early as 7am from Kampala to Jinja for a boat cruise along the source of the Nile, and then check-in to your accommodation facility in Jinja for an overnight stay. Journey Time: 2 – 3 hours.
