Virunga Lodge is an iconic Afro-chic property perched high on a ridge, offering dramatic views of the Virunga Volcanoes, Musanze Valley, and Lakes Bulera & Ruhondo. Built in 2004 by Praveen Moman, it has become one of Africa’s most loved lodges and the original gorilla lodge in Rwanda. The lodge features 12 elegant hand-built bandas, each with a private terrace. Four deluxe bandas include private suites, while the remaining offer chic, rustic comfort. Guests enjoy personal butler service, ensuring exceptional hospitality.
