Mihingo Lodge offers tailored horse safaris in and around Lake Mburo National Park, adjusting rides to each guest’s ability—from gentle walks for beginners to exhilarating 4–5 hour treks for advanced riders across the Warukiri hills, where stunning 360° views reveal valleys, lakes, and even herds of buffalo. Operating since 2008, the lodge provides English-style saddles, helmets, and chaps, with a strict weight limit (most horses carry up to 85 kg, maximum 100 kg) to protect the animals.
