This 7-day safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an unforgettable wildlife adventure. Enjoy thrilling game drives, a boat cruise, and a rare opportunity to track the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most visited park, is home to elephants, hippos, lions, African leopards, chimpanzees, and over 600 bird species, offering incredible wildlife encounters.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. With approximately 320 gorillas, 350 bird species, and 120 mammals, it provides an exceptional gorilla trekking experience. Key attractions on this safari include Mountain Gorillas, Tree-Climbing Lions, Ishasha, Kazinga Channel, and Lake Mutanda. Activities include gorilla tracking, game drives, boat cruises, and cultural visits, making this a truly immersive Ugandan adventure.
Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will head out for a late afternoon/evening game drive experience and later on check in for dinner and overnight at your preferred accommodation facility for the night. Journey Time: 6 – 7 hours.
Wake up early, have breakfast and head out to the park for another Morning Game drive experience. In the afternoon, embark on a Boat Safari along the Kazinga Channel with an excellent platform for photography and game viewing before you return to your accommodation facility for dinner and overnight.
You will head out for a Full day Game drive after morning breakfast. With hopes of sighting Tree climbing Lions, and various other wildlife species in the Ishasha sector, the scenery around the Ishasha River is quite beautiful and fascinating. Return to your lodge later for overnight. Journey Time: 2 – 3 hours
After breakfast, you will head out for a 7-8hr drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to arrive and check in for dinner and overnight at your preferred accommodation.
Start your day with an early breakfast before you enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure – tracking and viewing gorillas. Tracking the Gorillas takes anything between 4-8 hours with one hour of Gorilla Viewing. Return to your Bwindi accommodation facility for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Today is a great day for relaxation at the Mutanda Lodge; great scenic views of the distant volcanic mountains can be sighted from your accommodation facility. You can also opt to hike one of the 3 Virunga Mountains, track the golden monkeys or
do a cultural walk at an additional fee.
We will have an early breakfast then drive for about 11-12hrs back to your accommodation facility in Kampala. There will be a lunch break and a stop for photo moments at the Equator. Drop off at your Kampala hotel/ residence.
