The tents at Karenge Bush Camp in Rwanda are simple, serene, and eco‑friendly, designed to immerse guests in the natural beauty of Akagera National Park. There are just six canvas tents, each raised on a small deck and furnished with comfortable camp beds, solar lights, and lanterns to create a warm, rustic atmosphere. Ensuite bathrooms sit alongside each tent, equipped with bucket showers and eco‑toilets, with warm water provided daily. The camp is fully catered, with meals included, and a solar‑powered fridge keeps drinks cool at the bar. With a maximum of 12 guests, Karenge offers an intimate, low‑impact retreat where the focus is on wildlife, tranquility, and conservation—100% of profits support the management of Akagera National Park.
